Opportunities for Prayer at Main Street Community Church
Weekly
- Tuesday — 9.30am to 10am at the church building: Wellspring prayers for the local community
- Also:
- Sunday — during the 6.30pm evening service
- Tuesday — 8pm at house group (with Bible Study)
- Thursday — 8pm at Worship Group at the church
Fortnightly
- Wednesday — 10.30am to 11.55am in a home. Dates and venue announced in the weekly notice sheet.
Monthly
Second Saturday of each month in church from 10am to noon. These sessions are restarting with a new format on 11 February 2012.
Days of prayer and reflection
On some days in 2012, Main Street Community Church is open for you to come and pray quietly. You do not need to stay for the whole time, you can just come and go as suits you. There will be several prayer spaces available with things to look at, things to read and things to consider, for example: Bible passages, maps, illustrations, books and newspapers. All these are to stimulate ideas for our own personal prayers and to encourage our conversation with and relationship with God.
Dates and times will be published nearer the days.
Healing Prayer
A time to reflect, a time to pray, a time to seek God.
A short reflective service of about 30 minutes at Main Street Community Church at 10.30am on the first Tuesday of odd-numbered months(!).

One-to-one prayer
- Ask any of the leaders at a morning service (Sunday 10.30am)
- Personal prayer and listening available every Thursday, 9am to 2pm. Just speak to a helper.
