Building God's Kingdom in Frodsham

Taking risks for the Kingdom of God

Facing the realities of faith in 2012

Main Street Community Church is part of 'Churches together in Frodsham' and relates to the 'Salt & Light' family of churches.

Join us — it's an exciting calling!

In previous years ...

2007

We took as our encouragement the words of the angel to Mary, "With God nothing is impossible". We saw God strengthen our faith

2008

we asked God for refreshing streams from his Holy Spirit. We gradually gained a sense of anticipation and slowly saw growth of new people in our church. But we still wanted more from God!

2009

We believed God called us to persevere in our faith, in our prayer and in living our Christian lives. He does not promise it will be easy but he does promise he will be with us as we "keep on keeping on"!

2010

Ephesians chapter 3 verses 20 and 21 (NRSV): " Now to him who by the power at work within us is able to accomplish abundantly far more than all we can ask, or imagine, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus to all generations, for ever and ever. Amen. "
Greater things have yet to come
Greater things are still to be done.
A year of expectation for which we had been building foundations. Not forgetting what God has done in the past, but expecting more! Looking, prayerfully, for new and exciting things from God amongst us in the year!

2011

From Zechariah chapter 4 verse 6 (TNIV): " 'Not by might nor by power, but by my Spirit,' says the Lord." In 2011 we recognised that it is not our hard work that counts, although we work hard to reach and support our community, but we trust in a God who is able and willing to act for us and for the town of Frodsham. Living as a prophetic people. Trusting God, expecting him to act.
